As a former contractor, Martijn Schaaper, inventor of FODITEC™, knows what it's like to work on your knees every day. He noticed that many of his colleagues still experienced back and knee pain despite using knee protectors. Research confirms this. In the Netherlands, 11.6% of the population suffers from chronic knee pain, and 21.6% regularly experience knee pain.
He felt this couldn't continue and set out to find a solution. A team of human movement scientists and engineers, in collaboration with TNO, Delft University of Technology, and The Hague University of Applied Sciences, developed a knee protector. This protector is now known as the FODITEC™ H2.
